Organically-grown bamboo is highly breathable, comfy and soft; making it perfect for garments that sit close to the skin like underwear, socks and everyday basics. No pesticides. Thermoregulating, hypoallergenic and breathable. Organically-grown bamboo is our choice for comfort, sustainability and health.
Organic cotton is free from harmful chemicals and requires less fuel, water and energy to produce. As a natural fibre, organic cotton is the best choice for breathability and evaporates any moisture that causes bacteria to multiply. Organic cotton is super soft and this property will help prevent chafing and any discomfort when you're on the move.
Soft to touch
Made following the sustainable Lyocell process. Lyocell is a cellulose fibre traditionally made from eucalyptus trees or oak and birch trees. At Boody, we have developed our very own exclusive blend using our signature organically-grown bamboo.
When we say sustainability is our core mission - we mean it. We put sustainable thinking at the center of everything we do. It inspires us to constantly innovate while keeping people and the planet top of mind.
Our factories use state-of-the-art computer knitting machines to create seamless garments - meaning fabric wastage is minimal.
The bamboo used to create our signature, soft designs is grown organically - without pesticides or fertilisers.
We use rainwater to grow our bamboo and all water used in the production process is recycled and reused.
Our planet and communities need more people that want to make a difference. We support and partner with people, groups and projects that are activists for change — together we aim to create long-term, real impact.
1% for the Planet creates a way that every day, every person has the opportunity to make a difference. By choosing Boody you’ve made a sustainable choice in giving back to the planet. 1% of all our online sales are donated to non-profits who help protect the environment.
We donate 10% of all online beanie sales to the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, a not-for-profit, hospital and research institute dedicated to transforming cancer care. Lifehouse offers patients every service and therapy that they need including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and more.
Thread Together, our official charity partner, works with 250 retail partners including Boody to provide new clothing to Australians who are doing it tough. This includes those in emergency accommodation, those fleeing domestic violence, those out of work, and more
This passion saw two friends, David and Neil on a journey to simply design better basics; both bringing their experience in fashion and pharmacy together to force sustainable change.
Today, Boody is made up of a team of sustainable changemakers, including their sons, Shaun and Elliot who all work to not just deliver a product that's better for the planet but to use Boody as a platform to be real, transparent, open and honest - we owe it to the planet to be better.
Boody emphasises quality and simplicity. We bypass trends and fads as we believe they lead to overconsumption and waste.
Based in Sydney Australia, our sustainable everyday basics are selling in 15 countries globally and counting.

Through 1% for the Planet, Boody donates one percent of the value of all online orders to non-profits and associations which drive positive change and help protect our beautiful environment.
Our accredited manufacturing partners have been selected wisely after a long and careful process to ensure that our values and ethics are translated throughout the entire production process. We are committed to producing high-quality products, with a focus on sustainable materials and practices.
